Walks & exercise checklist
Your dog walks are booked. Use this simple checklist to prepare so every walk goes smoothly.
Meet & Greet
- Confirm your address and entry instructions with your walker before the first walk.
- Walk through entry, key or lockbox, and alarm instructions.
- Go over your dog’s routine, behaviour, triggers, and special needs as applicable.
- Share preferred routes, walk length, and pace.
- Show where the leash, harness, treats, towel, and waste bags are kept.
- Share your emergency contact details and your veterinarian’s information, and explain what to do in an emergency.
- Agree on how often you would like updates and photos. These can be shared through the platform.
- Point out household rules, security instructions, and any escape risks.
Before Each Walk
- Check that the leash, harness, and collar are in good condition and fit well.
- Make sure your dog’s ID tag and microchip contact details are up to date.
- Leave treats, waste bags, and a towel where agreed.
- Tell your walker about anything new: health changes, behaviour changes, or hazards on your street.
During & After the Walks
- Keep your phone reachable in case your walker has questions.
- Watch for updates and photos through Hello Marshy.
- Read your walker’s notes after each walk and flag anything unusual.
- Report any concerns through Hello Marshy, and leave a review once the booking is complete.

Keep all booking messages and updates on Hello Marshy for support.
Support is available seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. We may be able to assist outside these hours, but after-hours support cannot be guaranteed.
Pet parents should provide their sitter with emergency contact details and clear instructions on what to do in an emergency.
