Marshy Cares is available for the specific booking it was added to. If it was not selected, that booking is not covered.

What's included

If something goes wrong during a confirmed booking and your request is approved, Marshy Cares helps cover eligible costs after the first $100, up to $750 per booking. Care is covered for up to 30 days following the incident.

Coverage applies only to issues that arise directly from care provided during a service booked and paid through Hello Marshy.

Depending on the situation, this may include:

  • Veterinary care reimbursement for eligible injuries to your pet during the booking
  • Additional care costs required as a direct result of an incident during the booking
  • Any other reasonable out-of-pocket expenses directly related to the incident during the booking

Marshy Cares is designed to step in when something goes wrong during care and results in real, out-of-pocket impact, especially in situations where the responsible party is unable or unwilling to cover the costs.

Every request is reviewed carefully, with the goal of being fair, reasonable, and supportive based on what happened.

What it doesn't cover

Marshy Cares is designed for unexpected booking-related issues. It does not cover:

  • Routine, preventive, or elective care
  • Pre-existing, chronic, or recurring conditions
  • Issues outside the booking dates or scope
  • Meet and greets
  • Costs already reimbursed by insurance or another party
  • Unsupported claims

How it works

  1. Add Marshy Cares at checkout

    Select Marshy Cares as an add-on when booking your sitter

  2. If something happens, reach out within 72 hours

    Contact us at contact@hellomarshy.com with a quick summary of what happened

  3. Use any available coverage first

    Such as your own pet insurance or other resolutions

  4. Share supporting details if requested
    • Receipts or invoices
    • Photos or videos
    • Veterinary records (if applicable)
    • Booking details or message history
  5. We review and help cover eligible remaining costs

    We'll guide you through the process and keep it as simple as possible
