About Lorene
Get to know me
I absolutely love animals, especially cats, and have experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and birds. I’m comfortable caring for animals with special needs, including administering medication, monitoring for fever, and providing extra care and attention when they’re not feeling well. I’m also very familiar with caring for cats with feline herpesvirus, including dealing with watery eyes, congestion, and the extra attention they may need during flare-ups. I enjoy playing with cats and dogs in ways that keep them active, engaged, and happily tired. I’m also open to caring for exotic pets.
Why pet parents choose me
Pet parents can expect reliable, attentive, and loving care. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs, whether they need lots of play and exercise, extra patience and affection, or medication and special care. I’m attentive to changes in behaviour and health, and I always treat every pet as an individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Most importantly, I want both pets and their parents to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re away.

My home & environment
I live in a small but cozy studio in a townhouse, in a quiet residential neighbourhood close to St. Clair Ave. The area is very green and peaceful, making it a comfortable environment for pets. My studio has enough space for pet beds, larger toys, and other belongings, so you’re welcome to bring your pet’s favourite bed, toys, or comfort items to help them feel at home. I don’t have any easily accessible plants that could be harmful to pets. There is a small backyard deck without a railing, so pets would never have unsupervised access to it. If your pet needs to stay overnight, I’ll make sure they have a comfortable, safe, and welcoming space to relax.
