Pet taxi checklist
Your pet taxi trip is coming up. Use this simple checklist to prepare, stay organized, and help the trip go smoothly.
Before the Trip
- Confirm pick-up and drop-off addresses and times with the pet parent.
- Confirm the destination details, such as the vet, groomer, or daycare, and any appointment time.
- Ask how the pet travels best: crate, carrier, or harness with a seatbelt attachment.
- Ask about the pet’s behaviour in vehicles and any anxiety or motion sickness.
- Request emergency contact and veterinarian information.
- Confirm any paperwork or items that need to travel with the pet.
- Confirm who will meet the pet at the destination and any hand-off instructions.
- Prepare your vehicle: clean, ventilated, and with the crate or restraint secured.
During the Trip
- Let the pet parent know when you have arrived for pick-up.
- Secure the pet safely in the crate, carrier, or harness before driving.
- Never leave the pet unattended in the vehicle.
- Keep the vehicle at a comfortable temperature.
- Drive smoothly and plan for traffic so you arrive on time.
- Update the pet parent at pick-up and drop-off through Hello Marshy.
At Drop-Off
- Hand the pet off only to the confirmed person at the destination.
- Pass along any paperwork, items, or instructions.
- Confirm the hand-off with the pet parent through Hello Marshy.
- Report any health, behavioural, or safety concerns immediately.

Keep all booking messages and updates on Hello Marshy for support.
Support is available seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. We may be able to assist outside these hours, but after-hours support cannot be guaranteed.
Pet parents should provide their sitter with emergency contact details and clear instructions on what to do in an emergency.
